Having the right wine to complement the right chocolate can be a perfect match for special events and functions. The course is designed to provide you an in-depth understanding of wine and the specialized knowledge of wine and chocolate pairing. A selection of wines and chocolates will be utilised for tasting and illustration purpose in class. Attendees must be aged 18 or above with no allergy to wines and spirits and do not suffer from heart disease or blood pressure problems.

Content:

 

  1. Wine History and appreciation;

     

  2. Vineyards and cellar insights;

     

  3. The wines of the world;

     

  4. Wines and chocolatiers of different countries: France, Italy, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland and other countries;

     

  5. Paring chocolate with whisky, rum and cognac; and

     

  6. Chocolate and art.
